Fun Weekend

I just want to thank all of you for the sweet Birthday wishes!! It really made my weekend to see the birthday wishes! The weekend went fast! We left early Saturday morning and drove to meet me Mom in Medford, OR (half way from here to Reno).  We lunched and shopped.  I am a stickler for good Mexican food.  So, I admit I lunched on a days worth of calories in one sitting

Believe it or not, there is a chile relleno hiding under that block of cheese! It was all Yum!

My Grandma lives in Gold Hill, which is very close to Medford.  So we continued our visit and stayed with Gram! Missed my Dad and brother, otherwise, it was a perfect birthday! Love my Family!

We shopped in Jacksonville Sunday afternoon.  Stopped in a few fun stores for some “must haves.”

This oil is trazy-crazy! I sampled it in the store. Who new, sampling oils could be so fun!

Upon arriving to work this morning, would you believe I was greeted with the sweetest lemon cupcakes from my dear cousin!! I worked at Starbucks for a little while a few years ago.  It was during that time that I got hooked on lemon pound cake! If you have had Starbucks lemon pound cake you might know what I am talking about. Dang! So, it has been since that time that I have fallen in love with lemon desserts and well, lemon on and in so much of my food.

I am anxious to get back to my eating and exercise schedule.  It has been three days since my last workout and clean eats.  I find that three days is the max.  I don’t like to go more that that.  Otherwise, it gets harder and too much progress will be lost.  I work too hard to make progress, all to just lose it.  What’s your rule of thumb for time between workouts?
